Star Watch
If you stand on Main Street you won't have to wait long until you see your first star. Within a few minutes, actor and activist Ed Begley Jr passed in front of my lens. A few moments later, I bent over to tie my shoe and was knocked over by the beautiful Parker Posey. She surprsingly let out a nervous and embarrased laugh. As she helped me to my feet we continued to laugh at the absurdity of the situation. She felt really bad for knocking me onto the cold, wet concrete and invited me to a nearby cafe for a coffee. I ignored my ringing cell phone as we warmed ourselves with the caffeinated brew and unspoken sexual tension. Our conversation progressed over the coffee as if we had know each other since childhood; sharing embarrassing and occasionally humorous recollections. She abruptly stopped talking and peered deeply into my eyes. She slowly slide her hand across the table and gently wrapped her fingers around mine and asked what plans I had for dinner. That story would have been great if it were true, but of course the only excitement I got from Parker is when she walked by me. Sadly, I didn't get her picture nor did I have what could have been the best day of my life.
