Delta's newest in-flight safety video

Not bad Delta, not bad. Shake that finger baby! Be sure to notice the sparkling tooth at 4:01.

Cellphone boarding pass?

Oh shit....the battery on my boarding pass is dead.

It looks like Continental Airlines is testing the use of cellphone and PDAs as a supplement to the standard boarding pass.

"The two-dimensional bar code, a jumble of squares and rectangles, stores the passenger's name and flight information. A TSA screener will confirm the bar code's authenticity with a handheld scanner. Passengers still need to show photo identification. The electronic boarding pass also works at airport gates."

Delta to charge $25 check second bag

Learn to pack wisely. Beginning May 1st, Delta will follow the examples set by United and US Airways and begin charging $25 to check a second bag.

No food, water, clean toilets or fresh air for you

It looks like the Passenger's Bill of Rights is no more. "A federal appeals court has rejected a law requiring airlines to provide food, water, clean toilets and fresh air to passengers trapped in a plane delayed on the ground."
